One of my favourite outdoor shops in Devonport, especially during the sales. Hard not to buy one or more things even if you didn't come looking for it. Kathmandu branded gear generally is decent quality for the amateur hiker and outdoors person, or even the urban shopper.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I went there looking to buy a jacket but with no idea about what exactly I was looking for. One of the ladies helped me through it, advised me on the best options and found my perfect match at a great price, as it happened to be on clearance! I love Kathmandu

Met the most helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly shop assistant at Kathmandu Devonport — Shane — who gave us the best recommendations on rainwear. He clearly explained the differences between various types of rainwear and was very helpful throughout our shopping experience. It was a wonderful visit. We ended up buying 2 pairs of rain pants for our hiking trip : ) Thank you, Shane!

Absolutely 10/10 staff members. Help us out so good and they were super friendly and went above and beyond with helping us. We were also looking for gas bottles for camping, they didnt sell them but helped us find a place who did. I dont know your names, but you guys understand true customer service and seem like really good people. Keep up the good work (:
